Sebastian blinked then touched the cream with his tongue, sweet...and bitter at the same time, but he liked it, he downed it quickly then stretched and glared at Reia, "Come on Reia just because he wants to talk to the strange kid doesn' mean he likes him." he said silently to her.

"Mm...mkay" He walked away, looking down. He did not needed that treat anyway. He could bake something at his house. He sat on the edge of the pull, putting his legs on the water. It felt cold, but in a nice way. He slowly dipped his hand.

Reia watched as Nick walked away, his face downcast. He sat by the edge of the pool and stuck his legs in. Reia turned to find Sebastian glaring at her. "Great, now I'm the bad guy," she thought, rolling her eyes.

She walked over to the vendor and ordered another ice cream, this time vanilla with sprinkles, the perfect ice cream for a beginner. Then she walked up behind Nick and cleared her throat to announce her presence.

He turned around with a sad face, which quickly turned into a big wide smile as he saw the ice cream. He grabbed the ice cream, and finished it in 30 seconds. "Thank you" Nick said, as he ate the rest of the cone. "Sorry for interrupting you like that earlier"

Reia waved off his apology. "I didn't want you getting too attached. That kid doesn't have what it takes to be one of us. Not yet, anyway. As is, he would most likely leave you to be titan fodder if the urge took him." Reia was fiercely against anyone who would endanger the Scouts. Sure, she might be annoyed by most people. She might dislike most people. But at the same time, she cared deeply about their safety, especially that of her comrades. It was a bit of a paradox. "Anyway, glad you enjoyed the ice cream."

Sebastian Yawned and stretched he always felt overweight but he wasn't always getting compliments on his Ego and his body mass and look, He ignored it yeah he was strong but what good was that when he didn't know how to really fight humans?

Severin entered the pool deck,carrying a large box.He walked over to a table with a rose sign on it,setting the huge thing down on the tabletop.Severin then plopped himself down on a chair,sorting through the contents.He was wearing pair of rose-adorned swim trunks, which glistened in the sunlight. The first thing out of the box was a checklist and pencil.He sighed."A Guard's work is never done," he said to himself."At least everyone else is alive and...probably enjoying themselves."Severin then looked down and began writing.

Reia walked back to the lawn chair where she had left her book, sat down, and began to read. After a few moments, she subconsciously looked up and did a quick sweep of the area. It was a force of habit after so many missions outside the wall.

She noticed Squad Leader Kaito getting out of the pool. Acknowledging him with an incline of her head, Reia moved on. Her squad was right where she left them, on the other end of the pool, too far away to splash her. Nick, Sebastian, and Ernest were nearby. Reia also took note of the scores of other people here whom she did not know.

Then she saw a newcomer who entered with a large box. He seemed to be taking inventory of what was inside. The thing that really caught Reia's attention, though, was his rose-adorned swim trunks. "At least there's no need to guess at what regiment he's in," she thought. Reia wondered if the trunks were issued by the military or if they were of his own design. Reia had never heard of military-issued swim trunks, but there was a first time for everything, and today was certainly a day or firsts. By this point, nothing surprised her.

Severin began pulling things out of the box.Hardsteel blades?Check.Bullets?Check.Uniforms?Check.He still had a long ways to go before he could enjoy himself.Kurt kept up onto the table and began eating Severin's towel."Kurt!Go eat someone else's towel!Or maybe a bush!"He he grabbed the towel and began to pull.After several seconds,the towel ripped and Severin fell backwards out of the chair."Kurt.That's the sixth towel today.Can you show some dignity?We're in a public place."Kurt just made an awkward noise."Alright then,"Severin said as he got up,"I'll play once I'm done with this."He went back to the crate.

A goat. The boy brought a goat to the pool with him. Reia watched as the boy wrestled with his pet for a towel. "Tch," she huffed. It was a strange thing to bring a goat around with you. They were famous for eating everything in sight. "As long as it doesn't eat anything of mine..." Reia thought, returning her attention to her book.

A few pages later, Reia was torn from the story by the clip-clop of hooves getting closer and closer. "No," she thought, and moved her book out of the way just in time for the goat to take a snap at it.

"Kurt!"Severing yelled out.God,that goat was stubborn.Why would he listen to every command except 'sit' or 'stay'?Where was he anyways?The answer came from a girl several feet away.Unsurprisingly,Kurt was attempting to eat something.He continued doing inventory, and held his checklist up for a second. Then,some snobby person came and nabbed it.It was a Military Policeman.No surprise there.As the man taunted him about the difference in their 'work',Severin said one thing before grinning:"Kurt.Ram."Several seconds later,the man flew forward second feet, screaming.And Kurt was right where the man used to be.As the man lay on the grounds be,Severin retrieved the checklist and resumed his job.

Reia put her foot on the goat's chest and heaved. The creature flew off her chair and landed on its haunches a few feet away. Undeterred, it stood up and took a step toward her. Then, its owner barked a command, "Kurt, ram."

The goat turned on a dime and raced in the direction of its master. Reia watched as it ran full force into an MP. The man flew backward and landed on the ground. He laid there for a few moments, groaning. Reia smirked. She loved seeing the MPs get what they deserve.

Between her squad, bratty kids, and the goat, Reia got the feeling that she wasn't going to be able to read in peace here. With a sigh, she closed her book.

Severin chuckled as the MP just stayed on the ground.The next item out of the box were a ton of patches.The emblem was similar to the Trainee emblem,but featured two rifles instead,overlaying a cannon in the middle.Severin checked off his checklist.Finally,he was done with everything.As he began putting everything away,the MP stood up,looking very angry.The man ran at Severin,preparing a punch.Seconds before the man reached him,however,Severin turned around blocked the blow.The strength however,knocked him to the ground.He promptly backflipped to get back up,and Kurt rammed the man again."Now,Mr.High and Mighty,are you going to leave me alone or is the goat gonna ram your ass a third time?"The MP stood up and walked away,disgruntled."Fucking Military Police.Bunch of good-for-nothing drunkards,"he mumbled to hims of as he closed the box.

Reia watched as the MP stood up and threw a punch at the boy. "Well, well, this is turning out to be quite an eventful day," she thought. Reia wondered if something in the water was putting everyone on edge, or if all this fighting was caused by general stupidity.

She got up and walked over to the two men, intending to break up the fight if it went to far. She always felt like a mother dealing with children whenever she had to break up a fight. Why couldn't people just act their age? It would certainly make her life a lot easier. Thankfully, the MP walked away before anything too serious happened. Reia heard the garrison boy muttering curses to himself as he packed up his box.

Severin closed the box,thankful he was finally done.And then he saw someone walking over.It was a woman.Severin looked at her.Was she the MP's girlfriend?Probably not.And speaking of friends,that MP was most likely going to bring some back.He considered grabbing one of his pistols,but voted against it.Instead,he grabbed a pair of brass knuckles and put them in his pockets.Severin sighed.

Reia noticed the boy shove a pair of brass knuckles into his pocket. "Where did he get those?" she thought. Those definitely were not issued by the military. Reia wondered if he got them off the black market.

A glance at the front gate informed her that the MP from earlier had returned with some friends. It looked like she may need to break up a fight after all.

"And here my squad said this would be a relaxing day," she sighed. Then, turning to the boy, she said nonchalantly, "I hope you have a plan. Those brass knuckles won't be enough to stop all of them."

"These alone?No.The knuckles are an emergency plan.I've dealt with these MPs before.They all suck."He sat down and began flipping through the checklist nonchalantly."You can go sit down if you want.I can handle this."Severin's mind was racing.This moronic MPnwas trying to fight him.His lossy wouldn't make much of a difference.He looked to the left,in the shadows of the umbrella stands.Kurt was waiting for the command."I'd stop right there if I were you."Severin said loudly.The MPs laughed and kept walking.One even cracked his knuckles.Severin chuckled,for they had sprung the ambush.Kurt kept from the shadows,hitting the tallest man in the ribs.He fell Into the pool.Two more fell in out of confusion.Kurt rammed two more people before the only one that was left practically grew himself away.Severin chuckled,"Told you so."

"You misunderstand," Reia said. "I'm not here to help you. I'm here to put a stop to this. While I enjoy seeing the MPs get their comeuppance, you're causing a disturbance." Reia inclined her head toward the crowd of pool-goers that had stopped to watch the fray.

"I'm only acting reactively here.If the MPs stop,I'll stop.Simple as that."He shrugged.Severin put the knuckles back in the box before heading off to buy himself a snack and a drink.When the MPs got out of the pool,they passed Severin on their way out.The only exchange was that of the MPs giving Severin a very clearly upset look.He sighed.Severin stood at the counter,observing the menu.After several minutes,Severin came back with some bread,cheese,meat,and toppings,among other things,and a drink.A little kid was petting Kurt and saying nonsense.Severin simply dismissed it and sat down."Finally,I can make a sandwich."He then began making several sandwiches,all of which looked marvelous.Severin sat down for several minutes,considering which to eat.

Thankfully, the fighting ended, and everyone went back to their business. Reia sighed and walked back to the other end of the pool to check in with her squad.

"Hey Reia, what was all that about?" Gunther asked.

"Just people being stupid," she replied, shaking her head.

Petra spoke up, "So, have you decided to come in the water?"

"Tch. No," Reia responded, turning her back. Then she felt the familiar sensation of being splashed. She whirled around and shot a death glare right at Oluo.

"What?" he asked, trying to look innocent.

Severin couldn't decide which sandwich to eat,so he devoured them all.After doing that,Severin ran and flipped into the pool,reaching the bottom of the deep end.He stayed there for roughly two minutes before coming up.The water was not as cold as he thought it would be.He slid his goggles down over his eyes,and went back under.While he was under the water,Severin began thinking about his squad.What were they up to? Hopefully,they were shooting cannons.He stayed under for several minutes,contemplating.He then surfaced again.She then heard a splash.Someone had soaked the woman,and she didn't look bey happy.Severin sank down again,waiting for something to happen.

Reia continued to glare at Oluo, seeing right through his attempt to bait her into entering the water.

"Well, if you're not going to have fun, my dear, maybe you should go back to HQ and help the captain guard Eren. I'm certain Eld would like a break." Oluo said with his typical poor imitation of Levi's demeanor.

Reia considered it. She hadn't wanted to come here anyway. Gunter, Oluo, and Petra had forced her to, and what's worse, they forced her to wear this "bikini" that really just looked like underwear. She probably would enjoy herself more if she were back at HQ spending a quiet afternoon with Levi and Eren, or just reading under one of the large trees on the grounds. However, she had to admit that coming here wasn't entirely unpleasant. She did at least get to have ice cream.

"Oluo's kidding, Reia," Petra told her. "Stay here with us. Please. Don't leave me alone with these two knuckleheads."

Reia took a seat and sighed.

Severin observed the scene from beneath the waves.His goggles had worked better than expected,and he silently chuckled to himself.Severin considered blitzkrieging the woman and pulling her in the water,but he didn't want to come up for air yet.Seekng as how the man sashed her,he obviously wanted to do something.Severin slunk along the bottom of the pool,slowly approaching the man.Severin readied himself,and then sprung.A huge splash rose with him,completely covering the man.Severin took a deep breath before submerging again,grinning.

Oluo let out a yell as he was drenched in water. Petra and Gunther moved away before they could be caught by the splash. They burst out laughing when they saw the annoyed look on Oluo's face. Even Reia smirked at the sight.

"It's what you deserve for pestering Reia all day," Petra scolded in between laughs.

Oluo let out a growl as he searched the water for his assailant.

"Let it go, Oluo," Reia advised. "That one can't help causing a little mischief wherever he goes."
