Cultist Hunt (Open) (Lots o' Violence)

The group on the rooftop watched as the Red Titan turned and ran away. Reia's head snapped back toward Erwin. "What now?"

Indeed, they were in quite a predicament. They had one titan shifter to guard, one to contain, and one to chase. What's more, they didn't have horses on hand, and they couldn't use their 3DMG on open terrain. But they couldn't just let a titan go running around inside the wall.

Erwin raised his voice and addressed the multitudes of Scouts below. "All units, get on horseback and give chase to the Red Titan!" Then he turned to Levi and Reia. "I expect that whoever is in there won't stay a titan much longer. It's too conspicuous. However, I want you two to go along, just in case."

Reia and Levi nodded and ran off to the stables.

Jeremy flew from the treelike, thrown by the Red Titan. Launching his cables, he swung around the castle several times before crashing through a window. In the dungeon, several loud metallic sounds could be heard. Hanji turned around and got smacked in the face with a frying pan. Jeremy freed Max and rushed him up to a high window, and, grabbing Max, jumped.

The Red Titan burst from the treetops, dashing for the castle. Leaping over it, the Red Titan grabbed Jeremy and Max, rolled onto its feet and continued running, heading into the forest. As it ran, the Red Titan gave Erwin a warning stare.

The Scouts chased the Red Titan into the forest. As they rode, someone shouted, "What's that in it's hand?"

Reia took a closer look, then growled in frustration. The Red Titan was holding the titan shifter from before, along with the guy who had hit her on the head. She locked eyes with Levi, and it was clear that they were thinking the same thing: he would handle all the cutting, and she would get the titan shifter.

Levi jumped from his horse's saddle and attacked the Red Titan. Even though Reia had seen him fight a thousand times before, she was still astonished at how fast he was. Shifter or not, no lone titan could stand against him. Levi set to work cutting up the Red Titan, slashing its legs so it lost all mobility, then its arms so it was forced to release what it was carrying.

Reia switched to 3DMG and zipped to the titan's hand. She took the butt of her sword and hit the Garrison soldier on the head, knocking him out. She couldn't help but enjoy it a little. Payback was sweet. Then she knocked out the titan shifter, just to be safe, and snatched him away from the Red Titan.

Angus, her horse, was waiting for her. She jumped on and rode around the Red Titan, wondering if she should take the titan shifter back to HQ, or if she should stay and help Levi. However, he answered that question for her. Still cutting the titan, he yelled, "Go!"

Even though he was humanity's strongest, Reia worried about Levi, and everything in her screamed not to let him fight alone. However, this was bigger than either of them, so she pushed aside her personal feelings and rushed back to HQ, titan shifter in hand.

The Red Titan roared. Jeremy fell to the ground, unconscious. The Red Titan got back on it's feet, and charged at Reia. It grabbed a Scout's cables, and swung him into several other Scouts. He eyed Max with a pained look, and roared again as Levi swung past. Inside the Titan, Severin grimaced. "Your choice, Scouts."Severin said. The Red Titan roared, and caught Levi. The Red Titan hurled Levi at the castle, and lunged at Reia. It's hand landed not far from the horse, sending Reia and Max into the air. The Red Titan grabbed Max, and resumed its dash away from the Scouts.

Back on the forest floor, Jeremy slowly sat up. Holding his head, Jeremy leaned on a tree whilst getting up. He froze. Someone else was there. He turned his head, and looked at the person.

Max groaned looking up it had been a daze one minute running with a garrison member the next he was in the Red titans hand and was going along at almost fifty miles an hour, he looked at the titan then shook his head. "OI! thanks for saving me mate the bitch hanji thought she was gonna rip me apart and dissect me HAH shows her!" He yelled towards the titan screaming in joy above the speed, he didn't know what this titan wanted from him or the man he knew inside.

Auth paced a bit in the room. He sighed, then crumpled the paper he held in his hand and threw it into the fireplace. A few more strides to the table in the corner, and a sip from a quality red. More slow pacing through the room. A quick inspection of his nails, then he took out his flintlock.

He started cleaning it, using a brush with painfully slow movements. After a good few minutes, he stared loading it. Auth felt a movement in the room. Suddenly, he finished loading with very quick, expert moves, and shot the door frame, then eyed the military police waiting in the room.

There were a good fifty of them, along with five captains and ten extra supporting ones. One of them was now looking horribly scared, standing near the door he was trying to exit through. Auth looked at him head to heels, keeping a very stern face at all times, then changed his focus towards the others. In one swift movement, they all assumed a more proper position that that in which they stood the last quarter hour. Good.

"Back into formation." he told the leaver with a perfectly balanced tone. "So, fifteen minutes until you guys got impatient. Not bad. Quick enough to show action-orientation, slow enough to show discipline." he used the same tone when praising the group. Now he quickly changed it to a more authoritative one. "But. I expect you to not act on impulse from now on. Also, drop the goddamn scared faces. You're Military Police. Everyone says you're cowards. Do NOT give then the right to say that."

Creating anxiety, shocking, then motivating. It was a very strong combination, as all MP's in the room started to look more proud of themselves. Well, they were indeed handpicked individuals, while most still rather fresh, very skilled. The captains themselves were smirking at the back of formation. Auth's show impressed them, the veterans, too, albeit for a different reason: it's effectiveness. That meant he now lead a force respecting him, and one that didn't refuse to obey orders. Good.

"I'll skip formalities. I am Auth vi Roval, Survey Corp, yet very close tied to MP. I was appointed leader of this group for the upcoming mission." Auth pointed at the remains of the paper he threw into the fire. "Here's the official briefing: We are to go towards Shinganshina, look for a garrison member named Severin Wildner, the man in the photo on the wall over there." He pointed said wall. "This guy is both a skilled combatant armed with a modified rifle able to shoot multiple times..." Auth made a short pause to let that information sink in. " ... as well as a titan shifter..." Another pause, and this time a few muffled gasps were heard. "... able to change into a whooping 30 meter class with combat skills, identified by its red skin." The look on the faces of his squad weren't too happy.

"We are appointed to capture him." A few objections were heard, but Auth didn't leave any time for them to continue. "We are 65 MP's. It should be an easy task. I will admit no cowards" He pointed at his gun. "Cowards... will be shot by my own hand. Be. Proud. Of. Your. Strength."

With this, Auth slammed his palm into the table as he rose up. The squad took salute position, and Auth smirked at them. "We're going NOW. I'll wait for no one. " With this, he jumped out the window using his 3DMG. Soon, his squad started to follow, after they realized what was happening.

Auth was using an MP uniform, and was supplied with a rifle, bullets, and 3DMG blades as well. The squad consisted of four squadrons, Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta, and a support squadron, Epsilon. Alpha and Beta were equipped with rifles and guns, along with shackles, as main restraint unit. Gamma and Delta had blades, small guns only as emergency, and were more skilled in titan fighting.

This was going to be damn hard, at best. Still, they didn't have to know this...

"We're going NOW. I'll wait for no one!", with that words Cora snapped out of her sleep. Well she hadn't really been asleep but she wasn't listening a bit. She was behind the guys from the Epsilon squad, no one realized that there were actually 66 persons here. As everyone was jumping out of the window Cora followed them in a distance that no MP guy would realize she didn't belong to them but so close that everyone who took a quick look would think that she actually belonged to them.

Cora wasn't really sure how no one realized that but somehow it worked out. They probably were way to nervous to realize it.

Tell me...why?
Why? Because the training started to bore me and you two need something to kill. Titans are probably best.

Cora saw Auth, he lead the whole squad and he was the only one knowing her, that meant the only problem so far.

The Red Titan continued it's dash, pursued by the Scouting Legion. Inside the hulking monster, Severin coughed. He was pushing his limits. The Red Titan spun around and caught a tree. Uprooting the tree, the Red Titan began using it as an improvised weapon. The Red Titan roared again as it fought, slowly heading for open ground. The Scouts weren't making it any easier. Grabbing a pair of cables, the Red Titan swung a Scout around and slammed him into several other Scouts.
