Orchid stiffened, setting down her fork.
"I'm in Military Police, and I worked hard to get there. Unlike most, who's parents pulled strings to get them there, I graduated at the top of my class and applied. Three years of sweat, blood, and watching others fail."
She smirked.
"One of my few happy memories."

Sebastian didn't even raise an eyebrow, "Doesn't surprise me." he said before taking both plates and putting them in the kitchen sink, he exited then walked back over to her, "Are you ready to go? or do you want to walk around Rose some more?"

She grimaced, remembering what the Commander had said.
"Something tells me I'm going to be seeing a lot of Rose in the future. I'd rather not stay here longer than I must."

Sebastian nodded helping her up and out the door, the sounds of aww's from behind them made sebastians face red, "Gah, don't mind them they do that when two people leave at the same time thinking they are a couple.."

Orchid gave a sound of disgust.
"People and their assumptions. . ." She spat, glaring behind them.
"As if you and I would ever be a couple."
She shook her head, and began walking.

Sebastian shrugged, "You never know life....throws twists at you when you least expect it." he said looking dead ahead as they walked towards the HQ getting closer and closer each minute that past by. Sebastian felt his ego drop though when she said that.

Orchid grunted in response, focusing on putting one foot in front of the other.
"As much as I loathe to admit it, I would dead if not for you. So. . .thank you."
She muttered, refusing to look at him, a blush rising to her cheeks. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Sebastian grunted in response, he knew his face was as red as a cherry, "Your welcome, I'm surprised you said thank you though..." he said to her moments later as they made it to the HQ, he let go of her once they got there and sighed, "Welp, guess this is goodbye."

She nodded.
"For now, Scout. Perhaps I will meet you on my patrols."
Orchid hated goodbyes. She was terrible at them.
She raised her hand in farewell, and turned to go inside the HQ.

Sebastian nodded, turning around, and headed home once there he began cooking knowing it would take a while but he had to impress her, he made a cake filled with red and black icing and on top was her slaying a titan, he smiled he knew he had to protect this until then so he put his new Creation in the fridge and nodded sitting down on the couch to wait for the new day.

Orchid slowly lowered herself onto a cot, feeling the stares of her comrades on her.
One of them came up to her, a sad look on his face.

"Just you?" He asked quietly.
Orchid simply nodded.
"Yes. Everyone else was eaten, unfortunately."
He nodded in understanding, then walked away.
The female MP sighed and closed her eyes.
The next week was not going to feel good on her.
