Tuwile Lest
Basic InfoName: Tuwile Lest
Nickname: Tu, Lest
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Personality: Lax, not serious very often and commonly jokes about whatever situation he's in. Always sticks to the positive side of things, and tries to cheer up anyone who's feeling down. Contains a strong sense of justice, and feels the need to punish those who do bad, or simply prevent people from doing bad things in the first place. While when a situation goes bad, he tends to panic at first, after he's assessed the situation and better understands what's going on, he's able to think rationally and perform moderately under stress. Enjoys talking with others, and seems to hardly contain a sense of shame, seeing as he'll often make a fool of himself to make others laugh or feel better. Though there are often times where he'll feel terrified on the inside, in those situations, he will typically try to appear as calm as possible, maybe throwing in a light joke about the situation to lighten the mood, not wanting his panic to worry those around him further. His fast moving lifestyle translates over to a fast thinking mind, constantly coming up with ideas and plans, though those ideas and plans are often mischievous ones. He and his brother constantly playing pranks on each other as children, Tuwile still hasn't quite dropped that mindset, cracking jokes and deploying humorous schemes even in his current military position, usually at others' expense.

Character InformationLikes: Enjoys pulling pranks on other military personnel, though usually only on those who he's close friends with, or people he particularly dislikes. Also likes telling stories, enjoying coming up with fictional worlds. Another thing he enjoys is sleeping, which relates to his enjoying fictional worlds: only when he's asleep can he dream.
Dislikes: Dislikes going to the bathroom, as he finds it boring and a waste of time. Also doesn't enjoy being surrounded by people larger than him; it makes him feel small. One other thing he dislikes is crime, growing up around the basic concept that any crime is a bad crime.
Fears: Obviously fears titans, their overwhelming strength and size being generally intimidating. Also fears bugs, finding their slimy and oddly shaped bodies disturbing, as well as his brother constantly teasing him by dropping bugs on his head when they were little. One last thing he fears is watching the people he cares for die, relating to another fear he has of being all alone.
Motivations: The main thing that drives him forward is his primary goal of freeing his mother from her false imprisonment (read background), as well as competing with his fellow soldiers to perform the best and rise through the ranks faster. One of his other motivations is simply to stop crime, and possibly change the military police's shadiness for the better.
Character HistoryBackground: Tuwile grew up in Mitras district, with a wealthy family who spoiled him as much as humanly possible. Though they weren't of royalty, they were considered fairly important figures in the district, and had a major influence on both economical and political matters. For the first four years of his life, all was well, and he was almost never unhappy. However, when he was around the age of five, his father died of an aneurysm, causing his mother fell into a deep depression. She was unable to take care of Tuwile and his brother, Ethan, and the two ended up getting jobs at a very young age in order to support their family, as their mother mainly stayed at home and did nothing. His brother ran away from home at the age of 8, having been fed up with the constant work, having barely any time to sleep between work and school. After his brother left, his mother managed to snap out of her three year long depression, and finally returned as a member of the community, managing to quickly regain her status of high influence, and allowing Tuwile to quit working. When he was eleven, his mother was targeted by a conservative Military Police officer, as she'd been using her influence to lessen the costs of goods for the poor, which reduced profits for those who dealt the goods. He framed her for the murder of another influential member of society who'd been helping the lower class in similar ways. She was easily found guilty of the crime, having a mountain of evidence and "witnesses" against her case, and was sentenced to life in prison. Tuwile, left all alone and convinced his mother was innocent, decided to join the military police, hoping he could work his way far up enough in the ranks to free her somehow. Joining the trainee corps at age 12, he somewhat lazily worked through the first 2 years of his training, though tried significantly harder in the third year, barely making the top ten, ranking number 8. Despite the requests and encouragement of his friends to join the survey corps, he stuck with his initial plan and left all of them, joining the military police.
