When taken up on a subject she believes in she can be extremely stubborn.

Appearance: she has light blonde hair that neatly covers her right eye. Her left eye is visible because of a red hair clip she uses to tuck her messy, carelessly done hair behind her left ear. She usually wears a light red shirt under her uniform. Her uninjured eye is almost startlingly bright blue, while her injured eye is a more dull shade. Though her bad eye is covered by a bandage that is hidden by her hair. She has a soft chin that comes to a slight point. Her body is muscular, and she has wider shoulders than other women.  She has multiple scars around her wrists. Her fingernails are ragged and chewed.

Likes: She prefers simple things, this stems from her overcomplicated childhood; she must all ways have a flexible schedule, this once again stems from her childhood; she has trouble staying on one objective for too long, and prefers to do things as fast as she can; her favorite food is pork.

Character History

Background: Hannah Pace the mother of Cara, whom Cara loved dearly, had died during Cara's early childhood. Ten year old Cara and her thirteen year old sister Rosetta had an alcoholic father. instead of falling in depression he had begun a string of lovers and drugs. Each more disgusting than the last. This man, who Cara no longer called her father, had beaten the two on multiple occasions. Most likely due to not only the grief of losing Hannah, but the affects of large doses of drugs.
    During the fall of the Shiganshina district, Cara and Rosette had been gleefully playing in the yard. Suddenly the ground shook, the gate had been smashed open. A blast of air ripped a stick from Cara's hands and knocked them both to the ground. A large pebble had been flung into Cara's eye, she noticed that no vision returned as it fell to the ground. A large titan had begun to approach them, blood staining its twisted grin.
    Wide eyed, Rosette ordered Cara to get their father from inside their house. Following this command Cara came across her father passed out on the floor. Reaching the doorway once more she called out
    "Rosette, he won't wake up!" But what the young girl saw was horrifying. Her sister's head was firmly gripped in between the yellow, bloodstained teeth of the titan.
    "Cara! Run n-" was all she could yell to her younger sibling before the titan had closed its jaws, it's power smashed the 13 year old girl's skull.
    The resulting explosion of flesh, blood, and bone had landed only feet from Cara. Nauseous and Horrified, she ran from the house. She hoped to honor her sister's last request. Only minutes later she heard screams she knew could only be that of her father. Knowing she could never return, she sprinted until she could move no longer. Resting, she had leaned against the wall of a nearby store.
    Many friends she knew passed by without a glance. She believed she would die here, and accepted this fact, she sat on the stone ground in wait for her inevitable demise. A young couple had rushed past. however Cara heard a small exchange of the woman's plead to her husband.
    "John, there is a little girl back there!" She stressed.

    "she's not our problem." The man responded.
She was unable to hear the rest, so she instead looked up at the once great wall. She had been so mesmerized by the large skinless creature that she didn't notice the couple had reached an agreement. Looking up, she saw the two rushing toward her. The woman's eyes radiated a warmth that caused Cara to trust her, though having never meet this woman.
    The two later brought her to the next safe district upon what little room was left in the transports. Her new family was instantly broken apart though, as they were sent out to die because of the overpopulation issue caused by the overflow of survivors. Cara, now without a family, was forced to live on the streets. She had very little food week-to-week, and lived mostly on what little she stole from unsuspecting citizens.
    Cara enrolled into the training corps on her 16 birthday. She soon met Jonathan who became one of her only friends. She then vowed she would get vengeance for her sister. She would butcher the titan that had devoured her beloved sibling.
    She had chosen with the garrison, realizing the survey corps was to risky a path. She then spent the next several years awaiting the moment she would get vengeance.                
    Shiganshina was then retaken, this brought her quest closer to reaching its end. Her squad had been tasked with clearing titans. However, she soon left her post to seek out her old childhood home. Seeing her destroyed house forced her to relive it's memories, both the good and the bad. She had searched the town for the titan who ate her sibling, while also doing her duty of clearing out any excess titans.
    She had heard sounds of struggle coming from an alleyway, and had gone to check its source. She found it to be the same 7 meter titan that had ended her childhood. It's oddly proportioned body had become impaled on the rubble of a destroyed building. She stared at the monster for several long minutes, tears threatening to obscure her vision. She stumbled towards the titan, grinning wildly. Cara immediately  brandished her blade repeating the phrase, "You bastard... You killed her, you deserve to be skinned alive." Chuckling to herself as she did so.
    She then plunged the metal weapon into the titan's hand. Screeching in agony, it began to writhe and struggle to free it's right hand. However, a large wooden beam piercing it's chest kept it stationary. Cara savagely twisted the blade, hoping to savor this moment for as long as she could.
    The titan frantically reached out with its free hand to grasp Cara by the leg. Giving a gasp of surprise she twisted out of the beast's grip. Spinning to face him she taunted,"You want me too? Here, have this!". With this she leaped, piercing the creature's eyes. Following the force of the jump she brought the blade out through the titan's nape, freeing it from its suffering.
    Disappointed, Cara clumsily maneuvered to a nearby building's roof. She sat for nearly an hour, taken aback by the scene she had just experienced. Jonathan had been searching, and found the downcast Cara. He then convinced her to finish the mission with him. Together the pair cleared titan after titan. They forged a lasting friendship that stood firm. Jonathan later died at the hands of the female titan.

Extras: She has a nervous habit to bite, and chew her fingernails.
