Personality: Kaito is formal with battle and wont stop fighting, not because he has lost family, or even revenge for that matter. But because it gives him something to do, all his life he has been treated with disrespect. Which gives him the ability to take orders easy and allow himself to be verbally and physically abuse to a extent where he can shrug it off. In battle he'll save others if possible and ensure others safety. Doing this is something he enjoys doing. He keeps to himself mostly and doesn't speak to others unless needed. When in charge of anything he is commanding, the people he is in charge of lives come first. Kaito is angered with himself and his past, not minding the future too much. In order for him to survive he trusts the people he is fighting with to keep their heads and do what they are supposed to do, although he can handle himself and do things solo most of the time. He does like to have someone he can trust for once, rather then having to always trust himself only. Kaito doesn't keep many friends, reason being is because of his trust issues, trust is a very sacred thing to give to another Kaito believes. Staying alive is something Kaito plans on, as well as keeping others alive. He does not enjoy having people die in front of him, but whats even worse for him is having them die because of him. Kaito learned to cook at a young age and he does it whenever he feels angered or troubled, it keeps his mind off things. Although he is like all these things, he can be a nice guy. But you'd have to be quite the character of a person to have him reveal that.

He wears gloves in and out of uniform, they are commonly black as well. When on duty his uniform remains black as usual. His black hair and grey eyes along with his dark clothes blend in well and his black boots he wears with everything is quite flashy when wearing regular clothing. He has a facial expression usually that is either neutral or sinister looking. He seems calm and formal as well. His dark clothing keep him quite camouflaged at night, which is a good thing to him. Or, if not a trench coat, formal clothing.

Character Information

Likes: Kaito likes killing titans, every time he kills a titan, he feels a little bit better, and reason why is because this stems mostly from his past. Being formal is another thing he enjoys, being formal can not only save lives and you own because of you being focused while being so, it also looks cool. Kaito likes to cook as well as a spare time activity for him, he will cook for others as well if he feels that they deserve it. All these things are most of the things that he not only likes to do, but loves to do.

Dislikes: Titans was like a nasty insect of your bedroom window to Kaito, disgraceful and distasteful, Kaito will never be at peace until the Titans are wiped out even if they are he probably wont either. Kaito also dislikes the MP and believes they are corrupted and need to be fixed, as everyone else would believe, he witnessed first hand on what they do and will stop them if he gets the chance. Another thing that he dislikes is rude people, it reminds him of the people from his past and it's very distasteful to him. He spits on rudeness and arrogance that has no meaning.

Fears: Being the center of attention bothered Kaito and he was always afraid of being so, although he knew that someday he will overcome it. That day may not come. Although this isn't technically a fear to him, he still is not very fond of it, and this is death. He doesn't want it to come until he has fulfilled his mission, ensuring humanity's safety. Another is snakes, he hates snakes and fears them at most. He distastes them and hates them greatly. Snakes to him is like titans to humans, enemies. Kaito hates snakes, alot, he doesn't know what to hate more, snakes or titans.

Motivations: His motivations stem from his past, his first is humanity, he realizes how precious a life can be and that everyone deserves their own legacy of their own. Second, Kaito fights for his life as well, not allowing himself to die. Kaito will destroy the titans, without having to risk anyone's life. Even though Kaito's past is shady, he wont stop till he rids the evil from this world. The third is reputation, Kaito's reputation is important, reason being is because he was raised in a bad neighborhood of sorts and he has a bad ass reputation of sorts for him and his family, err whats left of it anyways.

Character History

Background: Kaito's past starts in the Nedlay district after the breach of wall maria. Kaito lived with his family that was middle class, his father Trio led a criminal syndicate that would steal and rob people. Eventually when Kaito was sixteen he was forced to join such syndicate. His father had high expectations for Kaito, before he was to fully join the syndicate he was to learn how to fight with a martial art called Jeet Kune Do when he was 14. By a master of the art named Kirito. The art isn't very popular but to really good fighters, it's considered the best. Kaito's master explained to him what Jeet Kune Do was by explaining it like this. It is a simple and direct, or straightforward, movements and non-classical style. Jeet Kune Do practitioners believe in minimal movements with maximum effects and extreme speed. The system works by using different "tools" for different situations, where the situations are divided into ranges, which is kicking, punching, trapping, and grappling, where martial artists use techniques to flow smoothly between them. It is referred to as "a style without style" or "the art of fighting without fighting" as said by Kaito's master himself. Unlike more traditional martial arts, Jeet Kune Do is not fixed or patterned, and is a philosophy with guiding thoughts. It was named for the concept of interception or attacking while one's opponent is about to attack. However, the name Jeet Kune Do was often said by his master to be just a name. He himself often referred it as "the art of expressing the human body" in his writings. Through his studies Kaito came to believe that styles had become too rigid and unrealistic. He called martial art competitions of the day "dry land swimming". He believed that combat was spontaneous, and that a martial artist cannot predict it, only react to it, and that a good martial artist should "be like water" and move fluidly without hesitation.

After learning and mastering such art and learning to use different weapons. Of course it all took a few years. Once he was 17 soon to be 18, he was accepted into the syndicate and was assigned the job of heists. His job was to not only steal but attack military convoys that were transporting goods. Kaito never killed, instead he was discreet and attacked them with non-lethal attacks, knocking them out. Eventually when he was 19 he found out that a competing syndicate assassinated his family. Kaito was stunned, in order to avenge his family he had taken the best three men loyal to Kaito's family with him, geared to the teeth and stormed the opposing syndicate, stealthy at first, but rambo like the next. They had a rule, no non-lethal attacks. They were there to kill and avenge. They succeeded somewhat, there was one casualty on Kaito's side. What was left of the syndicate his father owned was left to Kaito, but he wanted to leave it all behind so he decided to fake his death and he trusted his most loyal soldier to help him. That soldier.. Was named Fuula (Fool-ah) and she "killed" him and Kaito escaped, eventually making it to the military headquarters to sign up to join the Survey Corps.

After Kaito joined he past training as the top five in his class going on to be a Survey Corp member and after all that he was 24. He made it to being a average soldier in the eyes of the higher ranks after a little more than a year, making him 25. This happened after several missions, and one big one that set him apart from the rookies making him a average soldier on a mission outside the walls went wrong and Kaito along with a few others survived, the whole mission was to send help to team that was already sent out on a separate mission and it was said that he had taken out at least 6. He made it back with the squad leader and a few others. Now. To this day he is still himself really, just stronger and wiser.

Job: N/A Please specify your position within the scouting legion. Seeing from the application i can only assume you are going for a normal soldier position with higher stats(Experienced Soldier)?
