At first sight Chris looks like a happy and friendly guy which can be kind of flirty  but the truth says otherwise.

Chris having grown up with a decent education acts like he is smarter than his colleagues. Always correcting them when they are wrong and acting all high and mighty whenever he is right. As he started dealing in fake information and products he started being able to put a decent poker face. As his background suggests Chris is pretty good at lying and will try to do stuff behind people’s back if it will benefit him. He doesn’t seem to care about others outside of his teacher since he has trouble showing his true emotions. Chris never really needed to show his true emotions in the first place.

During combat Chris is very tactical never really willing to risk his life unless he has to even going to great lengths trying to disobey superiors as long as it means increasing his chances on survival. Even though all of his actions suggest that Chris is a bad person, he is very kind at heart. The environment has just made him the way he is. If he does get close to someone else other than his teacher he will do everything to protect him/her and try to keep the friendship as long as possible.

The time in the army and battles with titans might change his behaviour over time as he sees different aspects of life besides dealing/learning and survival.

Likes:
- Flirting:Chris really likes flirting with girls and never gets into serious relationships. His view on this may change during the story.
- Luxuries:As he got rich by ripping people off before he has gotten gotten a feel for everyday luxuries.
- Having to do nothing:Since Chris is a lazy perosn at heart he doesn't like to do more than he is supposed to do. Even trying to run away from tasks or disobeying orders.

Character History

Background:
Christopher grew up as an orphan in the slums within the walls. Always having to beg for food he grew tired of the trouble he had to go through just to survive. Never having known his parents, growing up by himself and his few close friends was quite hard. One day when he was searching for a bit of leftovers within the trash he found some books within the trash. It was a small amount of picture books and a book about the alphabet. Seeing as the books were written for children, Chris was able to learn himself to read. A week later a local scholar found that a small kid was reading his old books he threw away earlier. The scholar took him in and taught Chris all about life and even became his personal teacher. The scholar was an advanced biologist specialized in titans. A few years later(aka 10 years)  the recon corps asked for  a scientist to help with the research with a titan body they brought from outside the wall, The scholar went there to help. That same day was the day the titans broke through wall Maria. Chris has never seen his teacher since that day.

Living on his own and the scarcity of basic provisions has made it very hard for Chris. That’s why Chris started using his wits to scam and rip off people. Chris wasn’t a bad person but since he has never done heavy work before Chris his body wasn’t as muscular as the general male. He thought that doing it this way was easier and started selling products that didn’t work as intended or information which could be called fake. One day he got invited by a noble man to help cure his ill daughter from her heart disease which made her unable to do intensive activities for longer periods of time. Chris sold her a special “elixir” which could supposedly heal the disease. Seeing as it didn’t work he got caught and put into jail. Since after the fall of wall Maria there was a lack of soldiers they forced prisoners to sign into the army to increase their numbers. Seeing his physique wasn’t that great (bad scores) he ended up joining the scouting legion as he couldn’t join the military police because of his past.
